Catalina!

Hello Simpkin Project Fans,

As many of you know we have an amazing show coming up at the end of July at Descanso Beach Club in Catalina with the Dirty Heads and HB Surround Sound. We have received numerous questions regarding boat travel options, ticket availability and overnight room accommodations, so we have put together a small guide with links to better help you.

SAME DAY BOAT

The latest public boat scheduled to return to mainland on 7/29 leaves Island at 9:45pm. So those traveling on it would miss most of the Dirty Heads set. So…if guests cannot spend the night, their best option is to travel out for a 1/2 day on the charter specifically scheduled for the concert. The price is $70 (price of all round trip boats and cheaper than Marina Del Rey boats). It departs from Long Beach at 2pm on Friday 7/29 and returns the same night at 11pm after the show. There will be a DJ and drinks served on the boat. A party all the way! To book this option visit the below link and select the “Individual Plus R/T Boat” ticket: http://www.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=377839

JUST THE CONCERT

Catalina savvy? Bringing out your own boat? Staying with a friend? If all you need is a concert ticket, easily reserve online here: http://www.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=377839

OVERNIGHT – ACCOMMODATIONS

If you want to stay overnight, the island hotels are filling up quickly, so make reservations ASAP.

This is where the bands are staying: http://visitcatalinaisland.com/avalon/hote_atwater.php
There is a Friday night entertainment package option (limited availability): http://visitcatalinaisland.com/avalon/pack_catalina_live_standard.php
